Frequently Asked Questions
Who are these programmes designed for?
Dollaroak programmes are designed for working adults and individuals in Malaysia who want a clearer understanding of financial topics without being sold products. Whether you are early in your career, approaching retirement, or managing an estate, there is a programme suited to your stage.
Do I need any prior financial knowledge?
No prior knowledge is required for the Introduction to Financial Planning programme. The Forex & Currency Concepts and Estate Workshop programmes benefit from a basic familiarity with personal finances, but facilitators are experienced in explaining concepts from first principles.
Are these sessions conducted in-person or online?
Sessions are held primarily at our KL Sentral centre, which is accessible by multiple public transport options. Some participants prefer a hybrid format — please enquire when booking and we will do our best to accommodate your preference.
What is the programme fee and how is payment handled?
Fees are RM 480 for Introduction to Financial Planning, RM 950 for Forex & Currency Concepts, and RM 4,200 for the Estate & Succession Workshop. Payment is accepted by bank transfer or card. A booking confirmation is issued once payment is received.
What is your rescheduling or withdrawal policy?
Participants may reschedule at no charge if notice is given at least five business days before the first session. Withdrawals with more than seven days' notice receive a full refund less a small administrative fee. Refer to our Terms & Conditions for the complete details.
Will facilitators give me personal financial advice?
Dollaroak provides financial education, not personalised advice. Facilitators explain concepts, walk through realistic scenarios, and help participants ask better questions of their own licensed advisers. This distinction keeps the focus on learning rather than product recommendations.
