Built on the Belief That
Everyone Deserves Clarity
Dollaroak was founded to bridge the gap between complex financial concepts and the everyday decisions Malaysians face.

About Your Finances
Dollaroak came out of a straightforward observation: most Malaysians encounter financial topics — insurance, investment, estate planning — through people who have something to sell. That creates a gap. People end up making decisions without enough background to evaluate what they are being offered.
We set out to fill that gap with education that is clearly separated from advice and sales. Our programmes sit at the intersection of financial literacy, structured learning, and practical application. The goal is not to turn participants into experts — it is to help them ask better questions and feel more grounded in conversations with their own advisers.
Dollaroak operates from KL Sentral, central Kuala Lumpur, within easy reach of participants across the Klang Valley. Our facilitators bring backgrounds in financial planning, law, and adult education, and every programme is designed by subject-matter practitioners.
Our Mission
To make sound financial understanding accessible and useful for ordinary Malaysians — without the pressure of product recommendations or sales agendas.
Our Vision
A Malaysia where individuals approach financial decisions from a position of knowledge — not anxiety — regardless of their background or starting point.
Our Commitment
We will never recommend financial products within our programmes. Our only interest is that participants leave with clearer thinking and more confidence.
Our Facilitation Team
Each facilitator holds professional qualifications in their subject area and brings practical experience that enriches every session.
Lim Hui Wen
Head of Programmes & Financial Planning Lead
Certified Financial Planner with 14 years of client advisory experience. Leads the Introduction to Financial Planning series and oversees curriculum development across all programmes.
Mohd Razif Salleh
Forex & Currency Education Facilitator
Former treasury analyst with a decade of experience in currency markets. Designed Dollaroak's Forex & Currency Concepts programme and brings grounded, practical examples to every session.
Puan Arisha Zainudin
Estate & Succession Workshop Lead
Advocate and solicitor with specialisation in estate administration, trust law, and succession planning under Malaysian legislation. Facilitates the comprehensive estate workshop series.
Quality, Integrity, and Care
These are not policies we enforce externally — they are commitments that shape how we design, deliver, and evaluate every programme.
Qualified Facilitators
All facilitators hold recognised professional qualifications relevant to their subject area — CFP, legal advocate, or treasury certification. No subject is taught by generalists.
Zero Product Referrals
Dollaroak does not have commercial relationships with financial product providers. Our programmes are funded by participant fees only, which keeps our content neutral.
Regular Content Review
Materials are reviewed annually and updated whenever significant regulatory or legislative changes affect the content — particularly for the estate and forex programmes.
Participant Data Protection
All participant information is handled in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We do not share or sell personal data.
Post-Programme Support
Participants can reach out with clarifying questions for up to 30 days after their final session. We want the learning to keep working after the programme ends.
Regulatory Awareness
Our content reflects Malaysia's current regulatory landscape including Securities Commission guidelines, BNM advisories, and relevant statutes — without interpreting them as legal advice.
Financial Education in Kuala Lumpur
Dollaroak operates at a point where genuine need meets a persistent knowledge gap. Across Malaysia, many adults handle significant financial decisions — property purchases, education funding, retirement allocation, estate distribution — with limited exposure to the underlying concepts. Professional advisers are valuable, but they work best when clients bring some level of informed understanding to the conversation.
Our programmes cover three distinct areas: personal financial planning fundamentals, foreign exchange and currency awareness for those with cross-border exposure, and estate and succession matters for individuals with assets requiring careful management. Each is designed as a focused, time-bounded learning experience with clear objectives and practical reference materials.
Located at KL Sentral in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Dollaroak draws participants from across the Klang Valley and occasionally from further afield for the multi-day estate workshop. Our work is shaped by the conviction that informed individuals make better decisions — and that the starting point is access to structured, unbiased education.
